The reference photo from this comes from Emma Carlisle’s Patreon where we did a dusk and dawn session.
I started the first one during the call and then had to leave. When I got back to it, I decided I wanted to be freer but was getting to worried about wrecking it so I started another version beside it where I could just be totally free and try anything. I used a lot of water in both these gouache paintings.
